I offer a free half-hour appointment (by telephone or Zoom) to explore what counselling is and how it might help. During this no-commitment session, you'll have the opportunity to ask questions, and we can explore what best suits you and your circumstances.
Face to face sessions are at the Invicta Therapy Centre in Buxton. Please see my 'contact' page for a map of the location.
Outdoor sessions take place in and around the Buxton area. We can discuss if 'Walk and Talk' is suitable for you during the initial consultation. If you would prefer this style of therapy, it is worth noting that we may occasionally need to revert to 'Telephone' or 'Zoom'. The weather can sometimes make it impossible to hold constructive sessions. I'll generally contact you the evening before if this is the case.
Our sessions will take place over the telephone or via the zoom video conferencing system. You'll need a private space in your home free from distraction and a stable internet connection if you would prefer zoom video calls.
I have a small number of sessions held specifically for short term engagements at concessionary rates. If this is of interest to you please ask during our initial consultation.
